Non Nuoc is where Da Nang’s beach resort scene actually begins. The stretch of sand that runs south from My Khe Beach, past the Marble Mountains and along a 5 km arc of quieter coastline, has been the site of large resort compounds for decades. Furama opened here in 1997. Since then the density has increased: a dozen or more international-brand and independent resorts now occupy the frontage, from bamboo-and-wellness retreats to all-villa Marriott compounds.
The beach itself is wider here than the My Khe strip to the north. The water tends to be calmer, which helps if you are travelling with young children, or if you want to swim without dodging a city beach crowd in July. The tradeoff is consistent. Non Nuoc is 8 km south of Da Nang’s city centre, past the Marble Mountains, and everything beyond the resort perimeter needs a Grab or a resort shuttle. You can choose it. You need to choose it knowingly. I would book it if the compound was the holiday. I would not book it if I wanted noodles on foot every night.

What Non Nuoc actually is
Non Nuoc (Ngũ Hành Sơn Ward) sits at the southern end of Da Nang’s long beach arc, running from roughly the foot of the Marble Mountains south toward the Hoang Sa Golf Resort and the Cau Ha area. Most visitors meet it as the “resort zone”, the stretch where the beach frontage is occupied by large compounds rather than individual hotels and restaurants.
The geography is different from My Khe. The beach is wider and the sand coarser, and the absence of city infrastructure immediately behind the sand gives the resort zone a genuinely removed feeling, even though Da Nang Airport is only about 10 km away. There are no street food stalls, no noodle shops, no convenience stores within walking distance of most resorts. What there is: established tropical gardens, managed beach sections with lounger service, and enough space that even at capacity, the resorts do not feel crowded. The sand is wide enough for a morning run if you are a guest with beach access. It is not a neighbourhood you jog through for coffee.
The swimming conditions are the same seasonal pattern as all Da Nang beaches: safe and warm from February to August, with rising rip risk from September through December. The beach section here is well-managed with full lounger service during beach season. Naman sits opposite the Montgomerie Links and BRG Da Nang Golf Resort courses, which makes it the default pick for golfers who also want beach access.

Beyond the resort: what to do at Non Nuoc
The Marble Mountains are the most significant attraction within immediate reach of every Non Nuoc resort: a 10-minute Grab and ₫70,000–₫100,000 return. The five marble-and-limestone peaks hold cave pagodas, viewing platforms, and Buddhist shrines dating back to the 17th century.
