Chùa Phổ Đà is a Mahayana Buddhist temple on Phan Châu Trinh Street, built in 1915. The complex is notable for a seven-storey Xá Lợi stupa, an oval lake with a three-metre Guanyin statue at its centre, and three bronze Buddha figures in the main hall. A Buddhist middle school has operated on the grounds since 1992, giving the site a living-community feel rather than a purely tourist function. Dress modestly — shoulders and knees covered — and remove footwear before the main shrine.
