Da Nang's Children's Palace (Cung Thieu Nhi) is a free public cultural centre opened in 2016 and designed around the TANGRAM geometric concept — the building's angles are meant to suggest animal shapes. Entry is free. Inside are sports facilities, an outdoor playground, a library, and ongoing classes in dance, singing, painting, and musical instruments. The lakeside gardens make it a pleasant place to walk. It's primarily used by local children attending classes rather than tourists, but the grounds are open and the architecture is worth seeing.
